Basses in southern ontario

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [DB]' started by Milothicus, Feb 11, 2003.

  1. Does anyone live in southern ontario or know of a store that carries a lot of DB's? I'm considering buying one but haven't had a chance to compare much. I'm in Hamilton right now, but am willing to drive to find something reasonable. i just need to know where to start......
  2. Contact Martin Chapman, he probably knows a few places.
    He's in Sudbury I think.
    His TB username is: martinc
Just send him a private message on the board.
  3. violins.on.ca

    That's where I bought mine
  4. Try The Sound Post and Heinl's which are both in Toronto.

Both have some student instruments, but if you're looking for something a little more interesting, Heinl usually has a few of slightly better calibre. If you want a fairly decent instrument ($15K or up), let me know and I can tell you some people to contact.
