Which nickname would be cool to have as a bassist? Or what nicknames do you already have?
"Woodchuck" sets the bar unfairly high! Other than that, "The Ox" gets my vote.
Um...I think Grasshopper is already taken. So is Gard.
If it's takin I'm sorry, I tried not to put any that someone already has.
On a serious note, I've always felt the nicknames have to be given to you.
this is true
i was just named "jamaican kahuna" by my band
lol, nice one.
i am the jamaican kahuna, hear me roar
if i had to pick one of those nicknames, it'd be poopy.
but you cannot find the nickname, it must find you, young grasshopper.
I am John Doe #2
With a surname like Gouge, I don't need a nickname to sound tough!
Orgasmotron the Mighty
It was given to me by my friend who couldn't decide what musician I was (tubist, electric bassist, upright bassist?), and since all that I play are low frequency instruments, he called me Orgasmotron. We added the mighty when we were coming up with our barbarian names.
I used to get 'lemon' due to concentration faces...
Those were the days.
hahahah thats what my band used to call me, until I started playing rugby, lost all my fat and gained muscle, and started kicking their a** whenever they pulled that one out
I agree with nicknames being bestowed upon you, like crowns on the Queen, or the washing duty on your grounded head.
i thought, out of the list, Buck was pretty cool, until i went through it in my head and thought it could be too easily substituted for something else.
I used to get called beaver. I actually quite like it.
I actually call my drummer Toad.
And I'm called E-bay (because I always look on ebay and wish) and something else I can't remember right now.
