  2. The only one of those that I know is Fat Mike. He freakin' rocks, man. I loved The Decline. Have you heard much from Matt Freeman(Rancid, Operation Ivy)? That man is a bass god!

    I do like Matt Freeman a lot.

    Iffin ya do like NOFX, then I think that you'll really like Victims Family...

    And if you find that you like Victims Family, then I think you'll really like NoMeansNo...

    Rob Wright is my hero because what he's doin' seems easy... Until you try to play it...

  4. Wow, Victim's Family. I remember seeing them years and years ago, late 80's I think. Very similar to Nomeansno, and I remember the bass player being pretty damn good. Never had any of their albums, though. They're still around, huh?

    Another great punk bassist, I think, is the guy who used to play for The Dwarves, Salt Peter, I think he called himself. Not a band for everyone's taste, but he played hard, fast and straightforward simple killer lines. I think Hewhocannotbenamed is playing bass for them now, since he returned from the dead.
