I know we have a couple of post about bass lines written by recording artist but how about our own members???? I am sure most of us here are still playing in groups so if your band has an original song and you wrote the bass line for it POST THE SONG PLEASE!!!! Let's have some fun here...me first:

I played this on my Ken Smith 5 string plugged in to my Fender Twin 10 250watt combo amp. Show the bass you used please if you still own her.
    Thanks...leerod 2019-02-20 07.53.00.

    Where should I begin?

I've got lots of original music; many posts, already, on TB.

For starters, check out pretty much any Rare Blend song on Infinity, Evolution Theory, and Stops Along The Way. They are on YT.

I've been writing original music since 1974.

BTW, your song is just a blank off-white box, in your post.

My first fretless song from our latest release. There's a 57 second acoustic guitar intro.

    Sure, I'll contribute a few:

    - Sadowsky Modern for the main part and a Sadowsky Jazz for the slap section.

    - Rob Allen MB-2 except for the chords in the bridge (MTD 535).

    - I'm not 100% certain but I think I used my Mike Lull with Sadowsky preamp for the last one.

Thanks, appreciate it! This is a project with some old friends. We get together when schedules allow to write and record the kinda stuff we dig, funky rock tunes. It helps cut the cover band routine by still having a project that fulfills the reasons I started playing :).

This is over cooked, but who cares. I had fun doing it back when I was into slap. It was played on a Lakland 5502.

This is a demo piece I had been working on back in the early1980s while at OSU. We went into one of the practice rooms in the music school to use and record on a piano there, unfortunate that it is was somewhat out of tune (oh, well!) and we recorded it with a small handheld Superscope cassette recorder. Except for the piano playing, I am playing all the guitars, a'78 Gibson RD Artist, a Yamaha acoustic guitar run through an MXR Phase 90, and the basses ('67 Rickenbacker 4005WB). I tried some interesting concepts with this piece.
