Anybody tried both of these? Ive found a new older stock Bassman 400 at a local music store. Looks pretty much the same as the 400 PRO minus the built in tuner. But its priced at $699!

Thinking about jumping on it. But I dont have any access to a 400 PRO to try out, so no way to compare the two.

The old one is $699?!? That's an outrageous price for an amp that went no higher than $559 IIRC. Unless of course, you're canadian, which I have no way of knowing since you didn't fill out your info.

$559 for a Bassman 400? Im in the states, I thought the 699 would be decent price considering the 400 PRO goes for around $999. Granted the older one doesnt have the tuner, but isnt the rest of it basically the same?

I have no clue, maybe the list price was $699 for the Bassman 400, but I know for a fact that when they were being sold new, they were around $559.
