Basstar Ministar?

I like mine. To be sure, I have spent more time with my ministrat, but it plays, sounds decent, and fits in a small space:


Yup that is a guitar hardcase next to the basstar in its case.

Here is a pic of it with the strap attachments, there is a different one for playing sitting down.


I got mine for 50% off list, and consider it a good deal. It is a full 34" scale length bass that takes up less space than a guitar! My only wish was that they had put two pups in it, my ministrat has 3 pups.

 

View attachment 134089 I got mine on the Oregon coast for $159. I mainly use it as a backup, or to practice while waiting in line for the ferry. One I was playing a gig with a '74 P-bass, plugged in the Basstar during the break, and wound up using it the rest of the night, because it sounded better than the Fender!
