Just got a Yamaha TRB6p and I'm missing a certain quality. It's punchy as all get out though! I was thinking if I put a set of Barts in there it might warm up a bit, become a bit more organic if you will.

Does anyone have any experience with G6's, or better yet other pickup configurations (on a TRB6p) from other pickup manufacturers?

I don't think anyone else makes an aftermarket pickup for that bass. I think barts would sound wonderful in that instrument. If you don't like them the only other choice you have is finding a pair of Lane poor's, they made pickups for that bass as well but went out of business. I guess you could have someone make a custom pair but I may cost as much as you paid for it.

Yeah. I'm really leaning toward the Barts!

Might even get a Bart preamp which, if I don't like, will use in my Carvin which I know would benefit by it.
