Battery free tuners

    Ever since I discovered that an electromagnetic pickup will pick up the vibrations of a tuning fork (OK, it's obvious, but had never occured to me!), I have stopped using an electronic tuner completely. Nothing cooler than tuning up to a tuning fork in front of 500 people!

    I haven't had a battery in my tuner for over a year now. Anyone else going low tech this way?

    I used to do it that way.
