Being in the market for a cheap and good sounding 5, I am interested in a comparison between:

    Fury
    [IMG]

    Millennium
    [IMG]

    Grind

did you ever played one? how is tone and construction?

and what about this millennium? is it a discontinued model?

the discontinued millenium is the bast but more expensive (more like a slightly cheaper Cirrus)

    I currently have a Grind BXP-NTB (?) .
    Specs are:
    Neckthrough body
    String through body
    5 strings
    2 passive soapbar pickups

This bass is absolutely amazing. I know you may have heard bad things about it, but this bass is tonally rich and powerful. Clear low B, very, very good highs. The tapping is easy, slap sound is good...I love it. IT's now my main axe.

Maybe it's not for everyone, but check it out, you may be surprised.

  4. I'd go with the Millenium if you can find one.
