I would just like to say that BBE's Customer/Repair Service is EXCELLENT.

After running into a few problems after the upgrade, they're basically replacing the unit FREE.

Of course, this has alot to do with my situation here in Canada. Because the pre was purchased in the States, I have to warrantee it through them, and not through my local music store. So they realize when something goes wrong, I'm left hanging with a hefty shipping charge. Otherwise, it would only have costed me probably less than $15 to ship it from a US residence.

Now you may be asking, why wouldn't I just get it fixed here? Good question. I did call around, and the few stores that I would trust to fix it, said they wouldn't touch something by BBE, even with the schematics! I guess BBE's Toronto Distributor hasn't been on the ball in the past.

I've worked in retail long enough to have seen the unfortunate demise of many an excellent product due to poor distributors/distribution. It is a dreadful thing. A great example is that new CD that so-and-so has just released, and for some reason or another, nobody can get it in.

    Anyways...

This is a big two thumbs up for BBE in my book. Definately above and beyond the call of duty.

  2. A big thumbs up from me, too. BBE gave me outstanding service when I sent my BMax in for service. They shipped it back out to me the same day they received it.
