Anybody here use either of these and our they truly worth using for live playing? I have heard that some use em for recording. Is one better than the other? Are either even needed at all or are they a gimmick?

  2. I use a sonic maximizer. I have a 462 but I beleive that the 362sw (with subwooffer) are better for this application. They are really great for that little extra sound at a mimimal cost.

    Good Luck to you
  3. A friend of mine (pro audio buff) told me that the aural exciter is the way to go. He told me that the sonic maximizer just enhances your eq, making it dangerous for you speakers. The aural exciter enhances selectable harmonics. I don't have experience with either of them though.
