BBE Sonic Maximizer?

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Bassstud1, Sep 23, 2001.

  1. Hey ,

I didn't see anything about the sonic maximizer in the effects room so I thought I would mention it. I have a 462 that I started using recently. The only down side is the sound is very very clean. Hench if you have much string noise while playing this is not the effect for you. Any feedback please I'm new to the maximzed group.

  2. Hey I just did a search on it the other day it might help you find some more info on it. Go to search on the left and try. I dont own one but this should help.

  3. I love BBE.
My motto. You can dirty up a clean tone foundation.
but you can't clean up a dirty tone.

The BBE Son Max's are great units. I have a 482 and find myself wanting to use it whenever I play.

It's not the kind of effect that screams "look what I can do to your sound!" It takes a very subtle approach, but I love what it does for bass/guitar.

    BBEs are great!

You don't really notice when it's there, but boy, you'll miss it when it's not there...
