Beautiful 1981 Mockingbird in rare factory tropical blue green sun over maple with rosewood stringers. Rosewood fretboard, DiMarzio pickups with 9V circuit. Grover Tuners, Kahler brass bridge. The color is beautiful and changes in different lighting, it really pops in the sun

Bass is a time capsule and easily an 8.5 out of a 10, minor worming on the back that does not break the finish and one or two tiny nicks, also where the '8' on the serial was stamped the paint has come off on the 8 Super clean otherwise, plays great, sounds great.
Rare factory burst in exceptional condition
    Nice hardshell case included
First pic is edited for vibrancy , others are untouched

SO gorgeous. Mockingbirds are one of the few BC Rich's I see that look good on ANY stage with any style of music. I've seen jazz bands with the bass player playing a MB and it looks right in place. Not to mention they're just cool !

That is ka-RAZY!!! What did B.C. Rich call that? Dragonburst?

You just gotta marvel at it. I dig it.

The cream pickup covers set it off!

Pretty typical for a solid maple BCR, around 9 and a half pounds
