http://blog.newsweek.com/blogs/theh...gland-tour-cancelled-and-album-postponed.aspx Major suckage!!!!!!! It doesn't seem life threatening though, phew
dude... he's 45? but on topic... as much as i dont care for their music as much as it get played... i do hope he gets better
I'm pretty bummed about this news for no other reason than being a big fan and for not wishing to see anyone suffer... and as such wish for him a speedy recovery. I haven't seen them play since the "Hello Nasty" tour, and they were excellent, and just seen like genuine likeable guys. Tough break but glad they caught it early. Best of luck to you Adam!
Bummer. Always wanted to catch a show, but I always seem to miss em. Those guys are seriously awesome musicians.
Yikes. I've been a fan for a long time, I recently bought the vinyl 20th anniversary eek remaster of Paul's Boutique. And Yauch was my favorite even before I learned he played bass. I hope he makes a full recovery.
I grew up on the Beasties (I remember "Fight For Your Right to Party" from 1987). I hope he recovers. Things today aren't like they were in the 70's & 80's with cancer. Cancer used to be a guaranteed death sentence back in the day. People are beating it more and more these days. He may be able to beat this and keep on going for many years. Let's hope. Cancer is no way to go.
