wow. that guy must have brains of steel.
as well as a pair of brass ones to boot.
Don't I remember a thread about this guy right after this happened?
Sorry is this is previously posted.
Oh, I dont think you need to appologize.
I just wasnt sure if it was the same story.
Props to Matt, and get well.
Yeah, he was pretty ****ed up after that; a paypal account for donations was opened etc.
Glad he's ok, and TB should reunite and buy him a nice bass and some beers.
That would be a great gesture for a fellow low ender.
I don't get it.
low frequency vibrations? He's a bassist?
I think the was about the "blown my mind" part.
Man... after a lousy couple of days, it's good to hear something positive.
A guy like this deserves a miraculous recovery. Very glad to hear it.
Here's the original thread. http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=671719&highlight=
I didn't start it, but had been posting updates. This is the first time I've seen Matt quoted since this happened, though. Thanks for posting it, CM. His story is an amazing one, I hope his recovery continues to go well and he gets the assistance he needs.
It would be great to organize something for him here, but because of past issues, charity threads are basically a no-no at TB.
Facebook already has something setup for donations:
There's a link to donate at the bottom left of this page:
