Becoming a teacher

Discussion in 'General Instruction [BG]' started by count_funkula, Feb 7, 2001.

  1. Hey everybody,

I'm about to start giving bass lessons. I want no more than three students. I plan on charging $40/month for four 1hr lessons. I have a basic idea of what kind of approach I want to take but I'm trying to find out if there is any published material that can help me develop a cirriculum. I don't want to approach this without a plan.

I have taken lessons where the instructor basically charged me $40 to sit and watch him play and that is very irritating.

I want to share my knowledge and build some solid bass players.

    Any suggestions?
