been ampless for 2 1/2 weeks!

    yes i have not been able to really hear my bass for 2 1/2 weeks.my amp busted 2 1/2 weeks ago,and ive had enough money to buy my friends amp for 2 weeks,but his mom doesnt want himn to sell it,should i look for one,or just wait til his mom gives approval?its a yorkville 50 watt amp for $110,definitely worth the buy.do u have any other advice for an amp that will go LOUD but small(just like da yorkville) and very cheap?

    hey i recommend fender bassman you can get them for good money and they have great sound

    until you get an amp though jack it into your computer the sound card with act just ike the eq rack on your amp

    I DIDNT KNOW U COULD HOOK IT UP TO COMPUTER?!?!?!?!?!WHERE DO I HOOK IT UP,LIKE WHAT EXACT "HOLE"???

    Computer speakers won't work unless you have an active system with a sub... an eq helps, but it still won't sound very good. To connect it to the speakers just plug the attached cord directly into the bass using a 1/4" adapter from a place like circuit city or radio shack. If your friend's mom still won't let you buy the amp you could look at the Peavey, Vox, and Hartke practice amps, or any others that are recommended around here.
