Hi all does anyone know if a version of these, arranged for 3 double basses, has ever been played / attempted? I have been experimenting at home with mixing (using very basic Audacity) the parts as I play them but was curious to ask here as well. BTW - A good ear / thumb position exercise suggested by someone here a while ago, which I recommend too. Regards to all
I've done them with my adult group. Great music, works very very well, even an octave down for intermediates
They are four part pieces. Depending on the standard of the players you can play them "at pitch",,, ie read them as a bass player, or up an octave. I would not mix though, you might end up with some strange inversions! I'm afraid I've never recorded them, I use them as teaching pieces. If I get a chance I'll record the four parts myself and post them somewhere!

Neil, the parts I found on IMSLP, arranged for Trombone, are only 3. Is there a version that shows all 4 parts there? Thanks
