Before the amp, or in the effects loop?

    Do you guys have your effect pedal hooked up before it goes into the amp, or yall have them in the amp effects loop?

    The simple rule of thumb is floor pedals go before the amp and rack effects go through the effects loop. The signal in the effects loop can be 10x the size of your bass. Some floor pedals won't like this.

    What would you consider a moogerfooger? The lowpass requires a ton of drive to open the filter up, makes it very loud, do you think it is more along the lines of a rack effect?
