Before they formed Gentle Giant, the Shulman brothers did these songs

    Before they formed Gentle Giant, the Shulman brothers did these songs. These songs don't sound anything like Gentle Giant's progressive rock music.

    They had recorded as a band called Simon Dupree & The Big Sound and also recorded a song as The Moles.

    Reginald Dwight (pre Elton John) was in the band for a short time and wrote and recorded this song with the band.

    Hey - they were even on parlophone - the same label that little group from Liverpool was signed to.

    Great find. Quite rare.

    That's GG bassist Ray Schulman playing 12-string guitar in this clip, no? Can anyone confirm that the wacky guy with sideburns and knickers drinking from the wine bottle is Phillip Schulman? I recognize his face from the cover of GG's Three Friends album.
