for opinions, do a search in the effects forum, this is the amp's forum.

there are a lot of online stores that sell this unit. do a search also, .... froogle.com is all you need.
  3. I think you'll find a couple of threads in "effects" that might be helpful.

    Music123.com has them.
That's where I bought mine. Price is average around the web.

I like the unit. The housing is made of heavy plastic, but it's sturdy and weighty.
Sound: I'm still experimenting, but coming up with new tones everyday. I can get a fat, warm sound with it, and a bright sound too. I cannot duplicate the warm sound with my bass and SS amp alone, so that's a nice addition.
It's not a power-overdrive-distortion effect, so don't think you're gonna get a Geddy Lee sound from it, but it will get growly if you up the drive control.
It's not overly noisy. You can get some slight hiss from it if you start cranking everything, but most "boxes" will do that to a certain extent. The on/off switch works well, and doesn't make any popping sounds when engaging it.

I'm glad I could buy a unit like this one for the price.

  4. I ordered one about a week ago. I hope it comes soon.

I like the way you have it in your .sig already. ;) I got mine for AUS$60 - money *very* well spent. Nice range of tones, and - for what it is - pretty well constructed.
