Behringer BDI21: How is the DI volume?

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by fourstringbliss, Feb 14, 2006.

  1. I've heard that the DI volume is weak on these. I want to be able to plug in and run to the mixing board. Would I need to boost the signal, or is the signal strong enough from the XLR out?

Have not tried it live, but there was plenty of volume there for recording.

I have one and it is not weak. In fact I can't turn my bass up to full volume when I use it. I run mine to a mixing board in my church. For $30.00 it's well worth it.

  4. That's what I was hoping for! I used to own a Sansamp, but if this is similar in sound then I'm sold!!

    I own two.

They produce a very hot signal.

One other thing - a coupla people here are using the Acoustic DI instead, since it has a mid control.

I heard a soundclip, and it sounded good.

  7. Nice!! I bought a Zoom B2 and it sounds great through headphones and through my amp, but it doesn't have good signal strength. I want something simple to run through when I play at my church.

  8. Does it have the same tube emulation?

I don't own the Acoustic, only the Bass, so I can't say for sure.
    But, it sounded good.
