Hello guys, just want some opinions on if the behringer EPX 4000 is good or not, I know power rating are fudged These days but that's behringer, and I know there are some people here who are totally against behringer and that, but I have owned crown stuff and still do and love it, and also have behringer stuff that kicks butt, but was looking at an epx 4000 for a sub application I am designing and am just looking to save some money cause crowns aren't exactly cheap, so just looking on some opinions on reliability and sound quality, thanks!

I can't speak for the EPX series, but I have used the EP's and iNuke's and (while I haven't actually measured all the "claimed" specs) those series amps have performed well in the role that they were purchased for - as I had hoped.
    YMMV

That said however, the amps in my own PA are Crown, QSC and Yamaha. In essence, while the B*ringer amps are value for the price point.. you get what you pay for.
    Buy once, cry once.

I got rid of all my B^ringer a while back. BUT... I bought this amp for the subs for our PA. It is really really good. I replaced a Crown Xti4000 with this. The EPX4000 runs cool and sounds great. I am buying another for my monitors. I am starting to buy more B'ringer now... crossovers, noise gates, etc... I would imagine it would be good for bass rig too.
