I recorded my bands last show and was using three Behringer stomps that night. So as I was going through the recordings I found a few clips where I used the different pedals. BCH100 Bass Chorus - this clip is kinda long, but you can hear the effect on different registers on the bass ( i dropped out the vox but left the guitar and drums, you can hear vox in bleedthrough on the drum mics though.) BCH-100 UF-100 Ultra Flanger - the clip is much shorter, just guitar bass and drums during the bass break in everybodys favorite bar song. I had set the effect up so that it would be very noticeable when I used it ass opposed to the more subtle setting on the Bass Chorus. UF-100 BOD-100 Bass Overdrive - I didn't really use this pedal during the show since we didn't play the song I wanted to try it on. I did catch a clip of me playing a lick (badly) with it on. I'm happy with the pedal but still tweaking the sound. BOD-100
thats not a bad sounding flanger...i'm not sure if i need a flanger, but thats not a bad sound for the price.
You guys sound great! Im lovin it! The pedals sound cool too! edit: you guys got a site on purevolume or myspace or anything?
Great soundclips! Thumbs up for that! While im normally against Behringer (have had a few bad experiences with the products) I'm actually digging that overdrive.
Those were actually recorded from the direct out on the Vamp, not using any of the Vamp effects, but I was using the "Tube Preamp" amp model.
Thanks, i'm hoping to record some more before I travel out of town next week. I'm still twiddleing with the OD.
Hehe I couldn't resist I've just ordered a BOD100 from a german website (hope they ship to Denmark, don't understand german ) Hopefully it will take the spot on my board as the main overdrive. And if not; it's not a lot of money thrown out of the window really. Never thought I should see myself order a behringer product though
Wow! I'm really liking the Flanger and Chorus...how extreme of a tone can the Chorus get? I've been looking into some fun modulation things lately. I don't think the prices on the Behringer Flanger, Bass Chorus, and Phaser look too shabby, either.
Hi Justice - great sound clips. I've already got a BCH (and a BEQ) and love them both. I know the Flanger settings you used were a bit 'extreme' (on purpose) - how is it on 'milder' settings - does the fact it is not a 'bass' flanger give any problems (loss of bottom end etc)? Will you be posting up the full recording on 'Ain't No Sunshine' on the web anywhere? - it sounds like an awsome performace!! Cheers PaulF
Thanks for the clips, The chorus and flanger dont sound half bad, I might pick them up. I was expecting something really bad considering the price.
