Looks like behringer pretty much owns most of the competition , So the amp. Company is bought out by behringer, Good amps are then made with cheaper everything., I got GOT MY BUGERA sounded great for about 3 - 4 months. I won't even use it now Behringer
Cough cough, should've went with the TC, cough cough. Behringer owns nothing. Not even themselves. It does not own bugera, turbosound, TC electronic, or any of the other companies under the Music Group umbrella. Music group owns them all. Every company still operates in their own rite. The paperwork just reads Music Group. Just as Ampeg/Line 6's paperwork reads Yamaha, and Mesa's reads Gibson.
Yeah! I mean he didn't even say his Bugu was broke. Just that it sounded great for three or for months. For all we know, it still sounds great. Maybe he just quit. Lots of implications. Lots of inferences. Can someone please explain how a company can own the competition? Doesn't owning them make them NOT the competition anymore?
I think Behringer is pretty rad, because they give the young/broke musician opportunities to make music and learn. You can also build a back up rig on the cheap with something like a Behringer Ultrabass BX2000H, and cab(s) of your choice. Don't expect it to last forever, but you can say that about more costly gear too.
I use a Behringer BXD3000HD into a Rumble 210 with a signal splitter into a Rumble 200C with a 15”. I can’t believe the beautiful sound I get with this setup. That’s coming from an SVT SWR GK AND ACOUSTIC Background. I used Behringer gear for almost two decades with 0 failures. Can’t say that for some of my more expensive gear.
So far, this is the only post I will subscribe to. It's short, and to the point... this, doesn't grow on trees, so square root of Mother Earth is still just a rock on a plane, with Snakes and Arrows.
For a little accuracy here... Uli Behringer, founder/owner of Behringer and Bugera combined all of the collective companies under a holding company Music Tribe, and is the CEO of Music Tribe (not Music Group, that name ended about 5 years ago). When the original Behringer company began to expand, a holding company was formed to own/manage each company and its respective brands. Each BRAND operates or is marketed semi-independently but shares common ownership and especially common manufacturing. Line 6 and Ampeg are owned by Yamaha, and Yamaha is involved in the operation of both businesses and handles all sales/distribution. Mesa is a little more independent but Gibson is involved with the operation of Mesa and all of the other brands they own. They also handle the sales/distribution. I think you are confusing "brand", "company", and ownership.
I had the 1x15 combo. Honestly, it was butt. I'm surprised to hear people say good things about the head.
Have never heard of a Bugera failing. Is this a Behringer bash thread? If so, it will get closed with the quickness! Just a heads up. I have REAL WORLD experience with Behringer products dating back to the early 2000's. Not a single failure. Have friends with Behringer products dating back to the early 2000's. Not a single failure. And as mentioned above.....Music Tribe is the parent company. NOT Behringer.
I caught it right off the bat, he got a counterfeit amp, you'd have thought he saw the badge said Behringr instead of the correct Behringer. I wonder if his Fendr bas sounded gud wheel it losted . . .
