Discussion in 'Bass Humor & Gig Stories [BG]' started by God_of_bass, May 17, 2002.

  1. my band, funkem, just played the Belfast Grand opera house http://www.goh.co.uk on May the 6th, the equivalent of the sydney opera house. it was only our second gig, our first being to 300 people at the most the second being to over 1000 people! we played wild cherrys "Play that funky music" and our own medley, featuring, "everybody dance now," nsyncs "POP!", ireland very own thin lizzy and "the boys are back in town," G Michaels "Faith" and "hit me baby one more time" by big britney. we went down really well and we dressed in blues brothers style and beat the other band in the "battle of the bands," it was cool, although somebody did sabotage our guitar players amp???
    Thanks for listening
    what about are name, FUNKEM??
