6/25/14 - Price Drop - $1000 shipped in Tweed Case.

There was some confusion about this bass so to be perfectly clear, this is not a fender bass; it was built by Ben Lindsey.

I hate to do this, but I have 5 Ben Lindsey basses and need to fund a new project. Here is the ad that I bought the bass from here on TB:

Great relic job and great tone...nuff said. Alder, rosewood, nitro finish, Fralin single coils, mute kit, light duty road case...what else could you ask for? Fender Custom Shop doesn't do any better (if even as good), and I've owned plenty of them.

Someone must have put the Fender decal on after they bought it from Ben.

comes in Tweed case. $1050 shipped to CONUS. Substantial discount if I don't have to ship. Only local trades would be considered. I live in Charles Town, WV, 60 miles from DC. I would consider a trade for a MusicMan Stingray, Rickenbacker or an SVT 8X10 cabinet.

Man, I was hoping you wanted a Steve Harris P-Bass for it. Not that I really want to get rid of my SH but I would for this beauty.

If I didn't already have two Ben Lindsey precision basses it would be very tempting.

Is this Fender bass that he relic'd? Just wondering why it has a Fender headstock and decal as his own instruments seem to have his headstock.

I think this is a custom bass. Not a relic'd fender. OP will need to confirm.

THIS IS NOT A FENDER. You would need to ask those questions of the original purchaser. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to IM or email me directly. Thanks.

I'm not sure about the weight and I don't have a scale. I have 3 jazz style basses and 2 Precisions and this is on the light side of the 5.

Any interest for a Peavey Cirrus USA Walnut 4 String?

  20. Would you consider an 92 Ernie Ball Lined Fretless Stingray-4 with birdseye maple neck?
