Again, the guy is cornfed. I think it's great to see so many 4 strings in the lineup this year.

    Mac attack!

I'll really be excited to see what the NAMM goers think of the hollowbody....

Brian from Lowend clued me in last summer that Chris is working on an affordable bolt on single cut (he said about $1500, Chris said about $1900). Anyhow Chris replied to one of my messages a couple of days back and said that he would have one at NAMM and that he would be posting photos on the Lowend site very soon. I could have put a deposite down on it last summer and been the first on the block to have one; without having a clue of what it looked like, etc. I held off.

    Stay tuned

Its the Quilted top in the first picture with the basses hanging up and the one Chris is tuning up. It has a scooped headstock and the woods are standardized as well as the features & a 3 pc maple neck as well. Same Pickups and preamp as all the basses.

The SCB 5 is Mesquite Burl.

Glad you all are enjoying the pictures..........

Cool. I didn't even see that single cut 4 in the photo. Any chance you could get Chris to send you a better pic of it?

Anyway. Must post photo of my own bass - it's the one all the way to the left in the first photo....

If I'm not mistaken, I think I see mine in there (Vortex 5, goncalo alves top, rosewood fingerboard, black hardware). If it's not mine, it's darn close to my specs.

  15. Chris does build these basses in seemingly record time. I think something's up. :ninja:

Anyways, they look great and I'm sure they play and sound just as good.
