    Well, I have tried the Fender TBP-1 into my IP cabs, and this is certainly a very good match. :cool:

    Not sure how you would do this, since you can't run a tube amp without a load (i.e., as a preamp only) as far as I know.

    If you are looking for that sort of tone, the Alembic pre is probably your best bet.
