I have a passive '96 SR305, what pups are good? The standard ones are weak and I will be getting money soon. What's good? Thanks...

Reputable "good" pick-ups brands are : EMG, Seymour Duncan, Bartolini, DiMarzio, Aero ...
If you don't want to drill the body of your bass, measure the pick-ups and take a look at the Bartolini catalog http://www.bartolini.net, they have a big choice for pick-ups in different size, type ...
But the first questions to ask is perhaps : what kind of music do you play ? What kind of sound do you like ? etc ...

I try to play funk rock and korn kinda stuff but i want quite a clear sound but withoput having to go active. The pickups are the DX-5s if that's any help. They are 104mmX40mm.

The Barts may be too warm for the kind of sound you want. Although it's all a matter of taste.
Check out the other manufacturers' web sites.
