best bass guitar package

    im in the market for a bass guitar package. what is a good one for $300? ive seen ones from squire, ibanez, etc....i would play stuff like marley, pink floyd etc....

    Easy - don't get a pack.

    Get an SX and spend the rest of money on an amp...

    If you're set on a pack, go for the Ibanez for sure. It's a good bass and a decent beginner amp.

    well, a 10-15 watt isn't really going to do you much good in the long run IMO...

    The question was asked about a pack, I answered about a pack. Notice I said "If you're set on a pack"

    15 watts is plenty to learn on. You'll never be able to play out with it, but that's what beginner packs are for: learning.
