Best Bass You've Ever Heard?

This is my style of bass playing
I love that and I,m much more inspired by Cello than bass player these days
My Electrical Guitar Company standard bass. It's 100% aluminum and nothing feels or sounds quite like it. It has a natural chorus, clarity and lows. But of course, it doesn't sound like a traditional wood bass at all. For that I have a Ric 4003 . After plenty of searching they are my favorite bass's to listen to, and to play.
This is a great thread and thanks to the OP for thinking of it. I've just been listening to the videos and there are some great ones. Here are two more to consider.

Not trying to stir things up or nitpick but, my interpretation of the title 'best bass you've ever heard', would include the player and the bass. To hear it, someone would have to be playing it. To me, the thread includes bass and player. Just my interpretation (possibly wrong...).
(...and yes, my original answer of Chris Squire on his, and me on mine, still stands. It sounds egotistical to say that, but sometimes when I'm playing my bass, it sounds like the best bass I've ever heard.)

Michael Rhodes is a tone God. Check out this demo starting at 1:49. He's demo'ing an eq pedal so if you want you can listen from the beginning and hear how he dials it in.

Steinberger tuned BEAD direct to the board sounds like GOD MODE! that low B just sustains forever.
other than that Fenders sound like real life to me.
