I was just wondering what bass people play or what bass people like the most. Anyone else who would like to talk can and may.
Sorry, I am a new member. I spelled Sonus wrong on Zon Sonus (I spelled it with a Z). What's the search engine? I haven't even really figured out what all of that htlm stuff is or what attach a file means. It seems like a good pole.
It's a mighty fine poll but done many times. Next to Search For : you will need to click on Keyword , that is the serch function. Welcome to TB.
Ya, I guess it was a pretty stupid pole when you think about it but it is an interaction that takes place very easy and is fun for people to do. I been coming here for 3 years but never did realize I could become a member. Serene, are you a guy or a girl? Never heard that name before.
Hay, Serene, how old are you know and how much do you wiegh now? did any of that stuff work for you? I'm kind of in that sams spot as you were, but no football, i hated team sports and those a-hole football coaches. I'm 5'9" and weigh 240 pounds. I like to weight lift and can swim but don't have the appliances at home. Running just plain sucks. Did you chang how you eat or what?
in off topic there is a thread (maybe it was you?) who was almost the exact same hight and weight as you, and asked the same questions and had the same interests. welcome to Talk Bass. If you want to make friends with the old grouchy people, use the search. you may actually find exactly what you're looking for. otherwise they complain and i know i wouldnt want that.
I haven't done anything yet besides eatting more veggies. I hardly ate junk food but not I eat none. Still no soda unless its diet with a meal. Stains your teeth anyway. Havent started lifting again yet but I'm going today after I see my father. Finally got my damn arm radio.
Carrots weren't on option on your poll! I personally don't think there is any one type of bass that is the best, but there is a best that works best with you, know what I mean?
speaking of serene...have any of you guys played a surine bass? they are pretty sharp looking. i played a fretless (low construction level) and it was pretty sick...however, there was a very loud pop when switching from active to passive. the pop dissappeared if i cut the mids, but still... damn fine bass though. these polls are so silly...how can you really gauge your favorite bass? have you played them all? not to mention, there are soooo many handmades out there... its whatever does the job for you! i loved my warwick corvette fna, but warwick has gone super commercial these days and there stuff is no longer handmade (doubt mine was, but that single humbucker just does it for me!) i'm eagerly awaiting my new (previously owned) modulus quantum 5 (3-band) which should be arriving on friday! thanks to talk bass for their classified forums! The best basses i've ever played: - morch - citron - leduc there are so many others, but those are on my someday list!
argh! I picked up a Warwick Corvette today for the first time and that was one of the heaviest basses I have ever held. I love my Ibanez basses even more now. I don't care how good Warwicks are supposed to sound I dont want to hurt my back playing bass.
Dude! i bought a Warwick Streamer 5 a little while ago after playin a Fender Jazz 5 for 3 years, and man the Warwick is light compared to the Jazz!!!
well ive never held a jazz either. So I wouldnt know. And for all I know it is just Corvettes that are heavy. Of course I just plain don't like jazz basses.
