I will sometimes (OK, usually...) wind down down from playing out with a nightcap.
Usually, it's Bourbon for Blues, and Tequila for Rock.
I've picked up a jazz gig and haven't decided on a pairing.
I'm thinking Scotch but I'm open to suggestions...

Good choice - but the PLCB makes it hard to find Armagnac in Pennsylvania.
I might have to make do with Cognac...

( Remind me why the State is in the liquor business ? )

I'm going small batch bourbon, but I choose that for any/everything.

Bourbon for Jazz and Blues; some things can cover more than one genre.

  16. Jazz should be appreciated while sipping a martini. (Note, a martini should have a quality gin in it, as well as olives.)

As an aside Scotch is for Bluegrass, classical, and bagpipes (reserves more Scotch for me.)
