Best CLEAN combo amp or FRFR speaker for bass monitoring onstage?

At gigs I basically always go direct with my sansamp. I’ve been using a headrush speaker as a stage monitor but the volume drops a bit on my low D string because it really isnt a “bass speaker”…. What’s a good bass combo I can bring onstage to hear myself well? I was considering the Boss Katana 210. Any other suggestions? I want as flat/clean of a tone as possible. Something I can plug my sansamp into & hear basically what the audience is hearing. I would also consider another FRFR speaker, one with more bass response… i’m guessing that could get expensive though…. What do you guys think offers the most bang for the buck? I was thinking also an Avatar 210 cab with some kind of power amp… but that may not be very portable…

I like the Avatar cabs a lot, they are great value if you buy them used...but they have DEFINITELY got a lot of coloration to their tone IME. The 3-way cabs mitigate this some, but they are definitely not flat response by any means.

For frame of reference, the Avatar cabs I've owned are the Neo 2x10, Neo 2x12, and 1x12 (non-neo).

Not sure why your looking at Boss; are you going to use 'Boatload' of Features and DSP stuff?

In that price range there isn't much Fender and Ampeg but they definitely aren't FRFR or want to be many love their built in 'Character' :)

If your Sansamp has separate output from DI I would think a better powered Cab

Blackstar Unity 1x15 250AC, RCF, QSC efc.

Best would be GRBass new active cabs not marketed as FRFR and not cheap but great bass cabs

Look at the Warwick BC combos. Light, cheap and neutral sounding.
I have the BC40 and I once measured the frequency response with an app on my iphone.
Not precise or scientific in any way, but it did show that is is very flat.
Just not sure if 40 watt is powerful enough on stage, maybe the BC80 is a better choice.
(Only downside is that the power switch is at the back...)

Fender Rumble 100 or 200. The 100 gets plenty loud for me and only weighs 22 lbs. with a 12" speaker that handles the low B but also very articulate and easy to dial in any tone you wish. The 200 is a little heaver with a 15".

I actually used a Rumble as a backline at a gig and thought it was quite good. I bypassed the internal preamp & just went into the effects return though.
