Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by anotherbassist, Nov 26, 2003.

  1. I'm kinda looking for a big combo because it turns out some money i had for a halfstack didnt work out. Which combo would be best to do small gigs with?
    Fender Rumble 100
    SWR LA15
    Rogue RB 120-BT
  2. Yorkville xs400 115 combo :) if available.I have the head and a 410.

    +1. I'm still waiting for a review though. :mad: Can you at least post one at harmony central??? Please?!?!? :bawl:

    But out of that list, Rogues are a joke, the LA-15 is basically an oversized bedroom amp (I own one :oops: ), so i'd just get the Rumble.

    SWR LA15= 'big bedroom amp' :D
    Rubmle= I havent tried it.

    There are alot more combo's out on the market, with alot better features. check out Peavey, they make great combo amps. GK, Yorkville, Ashdown, Eden 'Nemesis", there are a lot more.

    But if you had to go for one, id go for the ruble, because the LA15 is too small for gigs, the rogue is a joke, and fender usually make decent products ;)

    EBS Gorm would be my 1st choice (probably the 2x10).

    Ashdown ABM-'whatever' Combo (115 or 210).

    SWR SuperRedhead.

    Eden Metro (if you like the Eden sound).

    The Peavey Bam-210 is interesting.

    The SWR WM 15 or 12 are good for clean.

    Ampeg B100R is good for 'Old School' sound.
