hi, im looking to buy a new combo. 150w-200w should do. i can only afford to spend about £300-£400 though. can anyone help?
  2. Power wise this'll be abit on the low side for you, but check out Ashdown Electric Blue 12 or 15. The one I got is the older style one - £289 (brand new though) and 130 watts. There is a newer one out that has the sub-harmoniser feature and 150 watts, don't know the price!

I know you can get the older ones (130watts) from

12 or 15 is the speaker size, depends on the voicing you want. A very portable, small, but loud combo!

I don't know much about what is available in Scottland or what you might pay for it there, but I highly recommend the Nemesis 210 combo. About 200 watts and very portable. Nice tone and reasonably load for the wattage and only 2 10" speakers.
