    I am essentially unendorsable.
    Hello Bass Gods,

I'm currently customizing a 35" scale length, ESP F-4E. Drop A tuning, Bartolini classics, proper pro setup, all passive. This bass will be a dedicated melodic crustpunk machine — fast, heavy, distorted sonic laxative played with a pick.

There's space for up to five controls. Layouts with less controls will use dummy pots to keep the bass looking good.

What do y'all recommend and why?

Options I'm considering include (but are not limited to):
    1. Master volume, tone, blend pot or selector switch
    2. 2x volume, 2x tone, blend pot or selector switch (LP style with linked volume pots)
    3. 2x volume, tone (Jazz style)
    4. Master volume, tone, blend/switch, coil split switch, series/parallel switch
    5. Five stage self-destruct sequence
    6. Something else?
I'm leaning toward option 1 (for simplicity) or 4 (for versatility) at the moment. But my experience lies with guitar, not bass — hence the post.

    All replies deeply appreciated.
