You've got to respect the guys passion for music at least. Wow, that dude is intense. With that....I quote from him:

"In fact, if you feel that the words that I'm writing are somehow your own ideas, that's what we're talking about."

Nah buddy, never happened the whole time I was reading your novel. Sorry, Epsilon Rising is not for me. The music was a real let down. I expected something dynamic and life changing. Really killer bass line on the song "My Baby".

Yeah, I was set up to be blown away, but that guy fumbling through the bass line on that first song made me sad. :bawl:

  6. Wow. I feel a lot better about my playing after that.....

  8. Seriously! They made it sound like they were professionals. All I heard were mangled cats. I know some of that is recording quality but wow.

To compare them to mangled cats is an insult to mangled cats everywhere. :)

They should have dedicated the time they put into that ad practicing.

    Well..........

The cornucopia has opened at both ends.... and they're both jerks.

I could laugh, but I've met so many people like this. Its hard to put a value on their views when the talent of self evaluation is so clearly beyond their grasp.

Hey, who's booking this band in Europe?

  12. My bad! I didn't mean to insult any cats out there. Please accept my apologies!

I needed a nap after reading that ad.

Can you imagine touring with a pinhead like that?

You're right - this really is the best CL ad ever. The delusional wierdos in the the NY CL musicians section have nothing on these folks.

Something tells me that touring probably isn't in there immediate future.

    Those guys suck a$$.

They have some nerve to post like that. What drummer would waste their time playing with jokers like that?

    Just horrible.

  19. but according to the ad it is! If it's in the ad it has to be true.

I spotted that one a week or so ago (I think it might be Craigslist-wide) but never got around to listening to the music. Still haven't, though now my curiosity is piqued.

Lucky for me I'm nowhere near that calibre of person, let alone that calibre of bass player.
