  1. Hey, I have a Warwick Corvette and I want to maximize my growl. I'm running it through a Hartke 3500 which has a 10-band EQ. What should I boost and what should I lower?

  2. Boost the low mids and add a touch of distortion. That's my main sound on my amp too.

  3. which pedal would you suggest?

  4. I use a Fulltone Bass Drive to get great growl with my Warwick.
    Other's use different pedal's.
It's really just a matter of taste.

  5. I am not too sure about the pedals, I use the distortion on my preamp.

  6. Usually you at least need a gain boost, even with an active bass, to properly overdrive the preamp tube.

  7. Yea Donne. I have an ADA MB-1, and when you are setting a patch, you set the distortion to either Clean, Edge, or Full. Then you can adjust it by changing the input level of the tube section.
