im doing a wipe on poly finish, and i was wondering what the best position for the bass to be in was, should i hang it up, or just have it laying down? and if laying down, on what?

I'm not sure it matters with a wipe on, except that if you want full coverage during each application you may be persuaded to hang it up.

I hang it from the ceiling with thick twine through the tuner holes.

  4. For the body, I would make a neck stub, and hold it by the neck stub. Put an eye hook in the stub so you can hang it to dry.

For the neck? I have only done spray on for the neck, so I have no advice.

unfortunatly, it is a set neck, but the neck stub in a vice would work perfectly with a bolt on. but i think ill hang it up, because i want a really even finish all around
