Best glue for dust-cap..

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by needmoney, Mar 31, 2005.

  1. Hey all,

A small section of my speakers dust-cap has come free from the factory glue, and I'm just wondering is there any special sort of glue or adhesive I should use to stick that bastard back down?

    Thanks in advance.

Contact cement works real well as it holds like gorilla snot but never really hardens. Any type of weather seal cement would work also.
  3. Thanks, is there a particular brand I should look out for? I need to be able to go to the hardware store and go, 'can you get me some of this..'. If i say contact cement will they know what I'm talking about? Like they're not gonna give me a big bac of concrete are they  Sorry about any confusion.

Standard contact cement will do. If your hardware store staff doesn't know what contact cement is, they deserve to be shot.
