I've been GASsing for a hollowbody bass with dark star pickups and TI flats fow a while now. I'm passionate about passive basses and single coil pickups, and really love my Fender Jazz bass with Fralins.

Since a vintage guild starfire is sort of out of the question due to the difficulty of acquiring one, I've been exploring different possibilities. I've brought it down to either the Lakland Hollowbody or the new Warwick Star II Bubinga, but I haven't tried either of them... I'm looking for Casady on Bless Its Pointed Little Head sort of tone, and I'm not sure which of these basses would suit me best with the Hammon Dark Stars..

    Any suggestions?
