best jazz bass color scheme?

  1. Whats your favorite jazz bass color scheme ( body color, pickgaurd, and fretboard) include picture(s). Ive started to save up for a warmoth project. Ill be saving my bday money and all othere money i get, and getting parts as Xmas gifts.

  6. My fretless is vintage white, with a tortoise shell pickguard and a rosewood board. For years I played a '72 Jazz Bass with the same color scheme; I think it looks fabulous.

    Gallien Krueger for the last 12 years!
    Same as SuperDuck, but with a maple board, black pick gaurd, and block inlays.

    Ooooohhhhh! Mine to, something about those early 70's blk block inlayed jazz necks that feel so good.

    But I'll settle for the one I have.

    That's what mine is and every time I look at it (after 3 years of owning it) I think it's the most beautiful bass ever. So I guess that's the best as I far as I'm concerned.

    chrome red w/ white pickguard and maple fretboard.

    Probably black w/black tortoiseshell guard and a maple fretboard. I'm gonna retro my MTD Kingston in that fashion. Probably won't look as good as a Jazz, though.

    White with a Tortoiseshell pickguard is totally pimp. I've got a hankering for a modern verson ala Modulus or Warmoth with a Status neck and Bartolinis. White with pearl pickguard, maple neck and blue with black pickguard and rosewood neck (mine),, look sweet too.

    Lake Placid Blue, black pickguard, and maple neck with black block inlays would be darn nice too... major GAS...
