NOW OPEN TO TRADES. Preferrably a Sodowsky but all trades considered. 5 or 6 strings only.
I love this bass, way too much actually, but i have to get rid of it, the economy sucks. Its super light, and the paintjob makes people drool, everywhere. Its very light, probably about 9 lbs. Looks just like it did wheni got it. Please dont ask lots of useless questions, serious inquiries only. All the info on the bass that i have is right here. Its a Looker!

    - Myrtle burl top, chambered swamp ash body

    - Birdseye maple neck and fingerboard, black blocks and binding

    - Hand carved raised pickguard

    - Aero jazz pickups in 70's spacing

    - Audere 3ZB 4 band preamp

    - Built by Ron Coats for 2007 NAMM show

Asking $1800 shipped. Only trades would be for a Lakland 55-94 or 55-02 with a maple board or a Sadowsky with maple board. Will also trade for a Epifani UL410, serious one preferrably

It appears to me to be some sort of newfangled set-neck thingy. I would like to know too!

I dont know a bunch about the bass. I dont know much about all the tech stuff but i knoe its a bolt on, but it gives it a neck thru feel.

looks to be some sort of cover that goes over the heel to provide smooth access to the higher frets with out the giant heel block..

    my 2 cents..

COOL BASS.. I have loved it since the day you showed it.

The HMR stuff looks SOOO cool. I saw one of his 4 strings at Music Castle in Royal Oak, MI. It was very sweet. If this bass were a 4 I would have to buy it. Good luck with the sale.

What would you rate the cosmetic condition? Dings, scratches, etc?

honestly id rate it a 10. I just looked it over hard and i couldnt find one ding, or a scratch. It doesnt scratch easy because of the finish, which is a plus. It looks great, basically its like new. I made sure i took care of this one.

This is probably the most interesting Jazz Bass I've seen lately. Shouldn't last long.

Yeah, I missed this too. I've always been very curious to try this bass... it looks phenomenal. Wish I could make it happen this time.
