What do you think is the best looking bass?
I think MTD's are beautiful. Very striking, yet not extravagant. (Alembics look great too.. but I find some of them too gaudy for me).
I also really like how Roscoe's and most Warwicks look.
As far as beauty in simplicity, there's just something about the Jazz and the Stingray.
My faves in this order: Spector NS-2, Fender Jazz Bass (and derivatives), FBass, Dingwall Voodoo, Pedulla Thunderbass.
Spector NS-5. AAAA quilted maple body, pau ferro fretboard, gold hardware, pearl Crown inlays. This is "IT".
There are so many, I have no idea where to begin.
These would have to be my faves:
1. Warwicks (except the Dolphin--just don't like them)
2. Conklins (checked out JT's website--WOW!!)
4. Dingwall Voodoo
5. Peavey Cirrus (hey, I got one, so......)
There are sooooo many beautiful basses out there, it is hard to even come close to mentioning all of them that make me .
that IS one damn nice looking bass.
Thanks. It plays as great as it looks!!!!
Kinal SK5-B. Quilted maple top with quilted maple fretboard and black hardware in a natural finish.
i'm still in love with the rickenbacker 4001 mapleglo or jetglo.
I would have to say the Pedulla Rapture J2:
Combining old school Jazz bass good looks with a little modern update. YEAH!
now that's a beauty!
i like this one somewhat.
