    Who in your opinion is or was the best lounge bassist and what was their best work?

    Didn't Donald "Duck" Dunn play for Happy Kiend and the Myrthmakers? I think I caught their set one time at the Naperville Holiday Inn and they smoked. They did a kick A** version of "Girl from Impenema" as I recall.
