Damn, that is one huge, awesome line-up. How many stages will be set-up? One for each genre?

Dude if you like Classic rock with a southern twist; check out the Drive By Truckers. They rock hard.

  3. well the festival isnt until april, so im sure a good bit of those will change/cancel but still, if even half of those make it woohoo, should rock.

  4. That is an amazing lineup. And within walking distance...

  5. Dude, you are a lucky SOB. lol

But seriously, if you like progressive rock, go see Kansas. I saw them earlier this year and it was one of the best shows id ever seen.

If it was me id also make time to see BOC, Steppenwolf, Ian Hunter(Former Frontman of Mott The Hoople), Al Green, Claypool and Gov't Mule.

    Have fun.

  6. This seriously looks like the best 3 day lineup of entertainment since frickin' Woodstock and only 4 people comment on it?

    WTFOMGWTF??? :p

  7. Which Les Claypool thing?

    Bucket brains?

  8. A bunch of great music there. I love all that New Orleans music.

I'm considering going to this myself.

  9. heres the acts im praying stay on the list and the ones i plan on seeing:

    Blue Oyster Cult
    Kansas
    Willie Nelson ( :D )
    Widespread Panic
    Donna The Buffalo
    Gov't Mule <--- WEWT!
Robert Randolph <--- bassist daniel morgan (iirc) is a beast!
Bela Fleck Bluegrass Trio (hopin that means flecktones!)
    Herbie Hancock
Maynard Ferguson & His Big Bop Noveau Band
    Spyro Gyra
    The Dirty Dozen Brass Band
    KC & Sunshine Band
    Tower of Power <---double WEWT
    Alien Ant Farm
    Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
    Cherry Poppin Daddies
    Everclear
    Flaming Lips
    Jimmy Eat World
Les Claypool <--- I FINALLY GET TO SEE HIM LIVE!
    Los Lobos
    Our Lady Peace
    Tantric

man oh man, i cant wait!

  10. That's an impressive list I'm jealous

Just a word about it for you being able to see it free is it the old jump the fence method or making a shady deal with one of the security guards :D

  11. Do I see Sonic Youth? No.

Do I see Billy Corgan? No.

Do I see Jimmy Chamberlin? No.

Therefore, it is not the best lineup evar.

    Wow!! Awesome.

Kind of like Summerfest in Milwaukee - which I think goes for a week or two.

DEFELDUS, man you HAVE to go see the funky meters. George is the shiz.

  14. See Particle if you can. I think they rock. Karl Denson's Tiny Universe is pretty cool as well. Dr. John is one of my all time favorites.
