So I recently won a battle of the bands with my friends, got my cut of the prize, and dropped $144 of it on a Source Audio Soundblox 2 OFD Bass Micromodeler Thing.

    I still have $106.

What pedal would you buy with the left over $100 if you HAD to spend it? No saving up for a Darkglass.

At this point, I'm able to achieve most of the tones I want, so I think I just want to have some fun with something new and exciting. Maybe a used Fuzz Factory...

  3. Something from IdiotBox.

Yeah, Matt's a great guy and I'd love to support him. I have been jonesin' after my friend's Dungeon Master.

I have an M9, so most of my modulation, reverb, and delay needs are covered. I love using the tremolo models with bass, though! Thanks for the suggestion!

You could buy two or three Joyo pedals.

    I have four! haha

Maybe I already have what I need... Maybe I should stop buying pedals and focus on my craft as a musician...

Haha I'm glad I fit in, Nox!

Also, that's not a bad idea with the strings...

  14. Digitech Bass Synth Wah.

About 80 bucks and lots of fun. You might even find a god use for it. I did, I use it on intros and breaks and stuff.

Oh, shoot! I was considering buying one of those and totally forgot! That's definitely going on the list of serious consideration.

I don't own one but in that range a Blower Box would be my first thought. I have one on the way.

  17. Hot hand controller? :D (are those any good, by the way?)
What kind of effect are you looking for? What genres do you play?

Subdecay Noisebox. You can get one used for under a 100 usually. Or a Fuzzhugger pedal. Those sometimes go for less monies.

Zoom B1on / B1xon / MS60B. Shed loads to play with. The B1 throws in a looper, drum machine, tuner and 100 FX, with an aux in and headphone out. Loads of fun and a great practice tool even if you don't use the FX in the band.
