Is there any equivalent of Amoeba music in NYC? I'm looking for a large used CD store, or one that has a good jazz and world music section.

I'll check with Joe, he's knows about someplace in midtown, not on street level, that has a lot of CDs and vinyl.

But ya gotta go to J & R, it's new stuff but they got EVERYTHING. Good prices too, they had the Monk/Trane at Carnegie for $9.99...

That's J&R by City Hall Park? (Just making sure I googled the right place)

Oops, lost this for a minnit. Yes, by City Hall park. The other joint is the Jazz Record Center at 236 W.26th St. Room 804.
